Thomas Osdoba is a Senior Advisor with EIT Climate-KIC and the Programme Director for Net-ZeroCities, leading the implementation of the European Commission’s mission to support 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030. He brings an exemplary history of leadership and in-novation, spanning the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. He has served as a poli-cy expert, leading practitioner of sustainable development projects and programmes, thought leader and innovator in urban sustainability and economic development, and creative entrepre-neur at the forefront of social enterprise and sustainable finance.


His work has been a catalyst for transformative projects and programmes, from the creation of clean energy systems and adaptive project financing platforms and strategies to top-ranked sus-tainability programmes and policies. His expertise in sustainability, community and economic de-velopment, climate change mitigation and resilience, impact investing, and social enterprise de-velopment offers a unique perspective to any organisation seeking strategic advice. Thomas combines systems thinking and creativity in the service of future-oriented endeavours. He has co-created multiple social enterprises, including EcoDistricts, New Energy Cities, and Clean En-ergy Works.
