Nikita Shetty is a senior expert with over 10 years of experience supporting local, regional, and national governments across Europe to translate their climate, innovation, and economic development ambitions into fundable, deliverable programmes. She serves as Head of Markets and Partnerships for Northern Europe and Senior Expert in Climate Innovation and Finance at BABLE.

Nikita works at the intersection of climate policy, European funding, and public sector innovation — helping clients navigate funding landscapes, design inclusive engagement processes, and develop strategies that hold up in delivery.

Earlier in her career, Nikita was a researcher in urban systems development at the Fraunhofer Research Society and in electric and hybrid vehicles at Tata Motors, giving her a grounding in both applied research and private sector innovation.

Nikita is a trained Climate Reality Leader and a founding member of the World Economic Forum-supported Global Shapers Hub in Stuttgart. She is also a member of the Urban Sustainability Network at UNLEASH, working with global talent on solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
