Trial. Innovate. Replicate. Lessons learned from Europe’s Smart City Lighthouse Projects

A dual presentation from Light house, - & follower city project coordinators versus EU policy makers followed by City coordinators responsible for implementing large scale smart city and energy saving solutions within their cities.

During the first hour you will hear about Trial, Innovate and Replicate. Lessons learned from Europe ‘s Smart City Lighthouse Projects in a European context. While during the second hour the City coordinators will talk about more practical cases:

o   What has to happen to move from successful smart city pilots to mainstreaming smart city planning and investments?

o   Which projects and solutions are interesting to scale-up and replicate? And which ones are not at all?

o   What are necessary instruments, regulations and supporting actions to help cities and companies to continue implementing smart solutions and smart investments?
