Bringing Nordic Solutions to the Smart Water Challenge

Opportunities for public-private partnerships for major climate challenges in cities - Co-creating sustainable solutions around smart water.

Growth in population, industry and irrigation, combined with the effect of climate change, causes increasing demand for water. Moreover, due to increasing risk of rising sea levels and extreme weather events, which lead to flooding, investments in cities´ blue infrastructure are required.

Water resource management encompasses a wide range of disciplines and expertise, including integrated water resources management, water digitalization, assessment of the demand for water for drinking and irrigation purposes, groundwater mapping and surface water monitoring, simulation and modelling of the hydrologic cycle, legislation, river basin management, institutional and capacity building and water resources protection.

Participate in a kick-off co-creation workshop, to find out more about the smart water challenges faced and brainstorm together with cities and solution-providers to co-create solutions.
