A municipality with a need meets a tech company with a solution.

Nordic Edge Expo is the leading meeting place for Smart City professionals from the public sector, the private sector and academia in the Nordics. The conference aims to inspire professionals from all sectors with plenary sessions, workshops and parallell talks. It is the place to gain insights, meet like-minded people as well as competitors.

At the expo solution providers showcase their latest products to potential customers and possible collaborators. For many it can be a match made in heaven.

Match made in Heaven

Take the municipality of Time and telecom giant Nokia. After meeting at Nordic Edge Expo 2018 the two parties continued the dialogue and have now entered a partnership to build Norway's first data storage tower which will supply an entire neighbourhood with heating in the town of Bryne. Norwegian speakers can read more about the venture in the regional daily Stavanger Aftenblad.

The parties have joined up with consultancy and engineering firm Asplan Viak and real estate development company Miris to pilot the new technology and expertise sentre.
